I am excited to invite all Civil Engineers and Geo-based scholars to join this new and upcoming club at Fresno State. What makes us different from any other Civil Engineering club on campus is our drive to make a difference in our student's careers, both academically and professionally. For the first time, Fresno State is offering a resource outside the classroom that educates its students in the different technical areas of Geotechnical Engineering. CalGeo at Fresno State offers monthly field trips, socials and general meetings to keep students up to date in the Geotechnical Engineering Industry. This club takes pride in returning the GeoWall involvement of Fresno State at the Mid-Pac Competition hosted by ASCE. CalGeo managed to receive the "Best Aesthetics" award on their first returning year of the competition. Our goal as Fresno State's first year CalGeo members was to set a solid foundation for future generations of members to come. We have managed to do that and more due to the club's great teamwork and leadership. Our club is only growing, we welcome all individuals to join this new and exciting group at Fresno State. At a low cost of $10 a year, you got nothing to lose and a lot to gain!
